716/2022 Missing Kayakers

Guernsey Coastguard alerted the crew to a possible missing kayak at 1931hrs on Monday 13 June 2022.
A blue double manned kayak had been spotted heading for Sark during the morning by the Sark Corsair, and was spotted again later in the day, with the crew of the Corsair observing that the kayakers appeared to be struggling. Contact was lost with the kayak, and the Coastguard were notified.
The kayakers were located by St PP Lifeboat shortly after 2100hrs North of Herm and taken into the Lifeboat, having provided what three words addresses and photos to Guernsey Coastguard by mobile phone.
