20/2013 - Missing person in Guernsey

Lions Pride was called out at 3.05 p.m. on 11th October 2013 by Guernsey Police Service to assist in the      search for a distressed male person believed to be in the St Martins Point area. 

The aircraft took off at 3.40 p.m made a concentrated search of the area between Fermain Bay and Petit Bot Bay.

A number of people were seen on the paths and shoreline and quickly discounted. We were also able to look down into gullies between the rocks but nothing was found. The Brecqhou helicopter and the inshore life boats were also assisting.

The aircraft landed at Guernsey at 4.35 p.m, having been airborne for 55 minutes.
