933/2023 - Possible person in water

The service took part in a major search in the English Channel, providing assistance to HM Coastguard in the search for a passenger believed to have fallen overboard from the Commodore Clipper. 

Lions’ Pride launched at 0540 and searched an area North East of Guernsey, in conjunction with UK and French helicopters, a UK fixed wing aircraft and a French Lifeboat. 

Lions’ Pride returned to Guernsey at 0840, having been airborne for three hours, and searching an area of approximately 630 square miles without making any sightings of the missing person.
