779/2022 People In Water - Lihou - Not Flown

The crew were alerted by Guernsey Coastguard at 1702hrs on Sunday 11 September and tasked to search for two people in difficulty in the water near Lihou.
Having just left the hangar after a training flight, a crew quickly assembled and had just started engines when the casualties were recovered by a nearby vessel.
Lions’ Pride was stood down and the aircraft was returned to the hangar and made ready for service.
