775/2022 Man Overboard - Not Flown

Called out for immediate launch by Guernsey Coastguard for a man overboard north of Les Minquiers (Jersey Coastguard coordinating).
On phoning Guernsey Coastguard for further information, we were informed that it was a sailing vessel which has lost its mast, not necessarily a member of its crew. St Helier ALB was en route and once alongside the casualty vessel (ETA approx 5 mins) would confirm if all persons were accounted for. Until then, we were downgraded from RED to YELLOW. Guernsey Coastguard were informed we were CREW COMPLETE.
At 1543 we were stood down by Guernsey Coastguard - St Helier ALB was alongside the casualty vessel and confirmed all persons were accounted for.
