1350/2026 Missing sailing vessel (not flown)

Alerted by Guernsey Coastguard at 0612 hrs (all times local), requesting assistance in searching for a missing sailing yacht, reporting electrical failure, before losing communication with Guernsey Coastguard following a DSC message. 

Details of the vessel and its last known position were relayed to the Air Search Crew.

At 0707 hrs, just prior to engine start, a further update was received from Guernsey Coastguard, confirming that the casualty vessel had been located by Guernsey Lifeboat and to stand down.  The aircraft returned to the hangar and was made ready for service.
