The Crew were requested by Guernsey Coastguard to assist St Catherine's Lifeboat with a search off the north east coast of Jersey following the activation of an EPIRB.
As the Crew were preparing to board the aircraft, they were stood down by Guernsey Coastguard, with no further information available.
