1065/2024 - Dead Whale

Guernsey Coastguard asked us to undertake an exercise after reports of a 15m dead whale had been reported. As it was a possible hazard to shipping, we undertook the flight this evening, June 6th. The whale was found and its position reported to the Coast Guard so that they could plot its drift and notify shipping of a possible hazard.
