The Channel Islands Air Search aircraft “Lions’ Pride” was called out at 07:55 a.m. on 7 June 2013 by Jersey Coastguard to search for a 2 man rowing boat en route from Weymouth to Jersey.
The aircraft took off at 08:20 a.m but was stood down whilst en route to the search area as the casualty had been found.
The aircraft landed at Guernsey at 08:35 a.m, having been airborne for only 15 minutes
