06/2013 - Man overboard N of Alderney

Lion's Pride was called out at 11.55am on Friday 31st May 2013 to search for a man overboard 7 miles north of Alderney, just south of the shipping lanes.
The aircraft took off at 12.30pm.
Conditions were good and the visibility was excellent.
Other assets on the scene included the French helicopter and lifeboat and the Alderney lifeboat.
The aircraft landed at 3.45 pm having been airborne for 3 hours 15 minutes and searched an area of approximately 60 square miles.
