14/2013 - Missing woman, Guernsey

“Lions’ Pride” was called out at 9.00a.m. On 15th August 2013 by Guernsey Police Service to search for a missing woman, believed lost on South Coast of Guernsey.

The aircraft took off at 9.30AM and commenced a coastal search between Petit Bot and Longue Hougue.

Weather conditions and visibility were very good and members of the public on footpaths etc could clearly be seen and ruled out.

Civil Protection officers and Police officers were also taking part in the search.

The Service was stood down at 10am following information that the lady had been located.

The aircraft landed at Guernsey at 10.15 a.m, having been airborne for 45 minutes.
