Latest Searches undertaken during 2012 are listed below:-

1/12
Lions’ Pride was called out by the Jersey Coastguard after a reported sighting of three red distress flares believed to be between St. Malo and the Minquiers reef. The service was tasked to search the area surrounding the reef looking for a vessel or persons in distress. The FLIR was used to great effect but nothing was found.

02/12
The service was called out by Jobourg MRCC following a report that a body wearing a lifejacket had been seen in the water to the North West of the Casquets Lighthouse. An area of around 30 square miles was searched, assisted by two French rescue helicopters and the Alderney lifeboat. Conditions and visibility were excellent, and there was no sign of any persons in distress.
