The Channel Islands Air Search aircraft, call sign Air Search One, was called out by Guernsey Police at 1830 hrs on 27th June 2016 to search for a missing person in the vicinity of L'Eree.

Multiple passes were flown over the area, extending north to Vazon and along the south coast as far as Corbiere, but with the main focus around L'Eree and Portelet.  After saturating the area with numerous passes over land and inshore, the sortie was concluded and the aircraft returned to Guernsey Airport, having been airborne for one hour.

An Air Search crew member said "Visibility throughout the search was excellent with numerous Civil Protection Volunteers, Police Officers and members of the general public clearly visible.  Unfortunately, we did not identify any person matching the description given to us by the Police."
